Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED — JULY 2026
This policy explains how ClixWorks — a Sofus brand ("ClixWorks", "we") — handles personal data across clixworks.com and the websites in our portfolio. We keep it short because we collect little.
1. Who is responsible
ClixWorks, a Sofus brand, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK 50937782, VAT NL001433370B64), Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is the data controller. Questions: hello@clixworks.com.
2. What we collect
We collect aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics (pages viewed, referrer, device type); the contents of emails you send us, including your email address; and technical logs kept by our hosting providers for security. We do not run accounts, newsletters or user profiles on this site, and we never sell personal data.
3. Why we process it
Analytics and security logs are processed under our legitimate interest in running reliable websites (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Correspondence is processed to answer you (art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Where a portfolio site uses cookies that require consent, we ask for it first (art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Affiliate links
Our sites contain affiliate links. When you click one, the affiliate network involved may set a cookie or receive a click identifier to attribute a purchase to us. The network is an independent controller for that processing; details are in our Cookie Policy and the network's own privacy notice.
5. Sharing and transfers
Data is shared only with service providers that help us operate (hosting, email, analytics), under processing agreements. Where a provider is outside the EEA, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your query and up to 2 years after. Server logs are kept up to 12 months. Aggregated analytics contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email hello@clixworks.com; we respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as our portfolio evolves. The date above always reflects the current version.
